Why the change?
CHANGE IN FEES:
Despite rising external programming costs, our youth fees have not changed in two years. Our Winter 2020 fees have changed for several reasons
- Our members preferred paying one lump fee as opposed to registration + placement fee prior to October training
- The majority of our members asked for training during the full month of October, as opposed to starting in November. We are allowing our players to play for a longer time period, in preparation for our Winter season. Our skills centre age groups less the U8 (U9—U11) will have five sessions through October and youth players (U12—U18) will have an extra 10 sessions in October.
- U12 players will have 2 ID weekends throughout the Winter. One tournament located in Bridgewater in December, with the other held in Halifax in March.
- Our AAA programs have changed to a full calendar season. Soccer Nova Scotia has advised clubs that all league entry costs have amounted to be the same as a regular Winter + Summer season. The credentials required to properly run these programs has increased, impacting the technical fee per team.
