Director of  Coaching, Peter Leebrook is looking forward to a great season, with some enhanced programs there is opportunity for every player to get lots of soccer, training and fitness this summer.

New:    This year, to ensure that all players at every level have access to quality training, the Club will hold "Clinic's" twice weekly in the evening from June through August on the Dalhousie pitch.  These clinics are targeting the T2a and b levels and will provide them with the technical expertise they require to bring their own skills to the next level.   The schedule will be posted when full training schedules are sorted.

Spring Training Camp for U12b and 8 aside players,  U14 T2a and b .
This very special program is being held for three weeks and is aimed to bring our players back up to speed with the rules, tactics and technique of the game.  Held three consecutive Saturdays in April on Turf, this program will go over the basics and will include small sided games,  skills training and reviewing rules of the game.   Registration Charge $30

High Performance Program (HPP):   This is specific to the U10 Select, U11/12 Select, Tier 1 player and some T2a players.  This new and exciting program  will include an "Elite week": (July 19th for the girls and July 26th for the boys). The "Elite Week" will run for the full day Monday - Friday at Dalhousie Wickwire Sports Field. The program can be intergrated with our Summer Skills and Fitness Program to complete an amazing package of top class HPP Summer training. All tier 1 and Select players are expected to participate in the Program, which will be directed by HCSC and Ashley Hoskins who is an UAFA "A" Licenced coach and full time coach at Burnley Football Club. Ash will be assisted by other Academy staff  from Burnley who are gaurenteed to have a minimal of a UAFA "B" Licence and extensive knowledge in player development. 

Bolton Wanderers International Academy are back.   We are very excited to have Bolton back.   Their program is second to none and we enjoy having a opportunity to bring their highly qualified trainers to the Club and City of Halifax.    This program will target both Tier 1 and Tier 2 players this season,  working on success at every level within the Club.
